Pancake Breakfast Sunday

I got this gem from my Czech Grandma V's treasured recipe box. I made this one for the family this morning and the pancakes were a hit. The sour cream makes the pancakes much fluffier than usual. This recipe also doesn't include sugar in the batter......and it truly wasn't needed! I recommend this one.

Sour Cream Pancakes

1. c. sifted flour

1/2 t. baking powder

1/2 t. baking soda

1/2 t. salt

1/2 c. sour cream

1/2 c. milk

2 eggs

3 Tbs butter

1. Sift flour with baking powder, soda, and salt.

2. Combine sour cream andmilk stirring well.

3. In large bowl, beat eggs at high speed until fluffy.

4. At low speed, alternately blend in flour mixture and sour cream mixture beginning and ending with flour.

5. Blend in melted shortening.

6. Pour batter onto lightly greased griddle and turn when batter starts to bubble.
